This year, Ports du Calvados has undertaken an operation to replace pontoons and modernize port equipment at five of our sites:
- Deauville-Trouville
- Dives-Cabourg-Houlgate
- Courseulles-sur-Mer
- Grandcamp-Maisy
- Port en Bessin - Huppain

This large-scale operation included
- Replacement of pontoons, catways, mooring arms, gangways and access gates
- Installation of new electrical and water distribution terminals.
In all, 1.1 km of purlins have been replaced, enhancing safety and comfort for users in the ports concerned.
The contract was awarded to PORALU MARINE, with AR Marina as subcontractor for the networks and distribution terminals.
The cost of the project is €1,666,609 excluding VAT, or almost €2 million including VAT.
With this investment, Ports du Calvados is pursuing its policy of modernizing its port infrastructures for the benefit of users and local communities.
