Guillaume POITEVIN (Fishing Manager) :
"Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the heritage vessel Les Deux Amis and its dedicated volunteers to the technical area of Port en Bessin Huppain. This 15-meter trawler barque, built in 1949, which fished along the Lower Normandy coast, was put back in the water thanks to the skills of Ports du Calvados agents.
Heritage ship listed in the Monuments Historiques inventory
👉 Maritime Affairs appraise the ship's reconstruction and grant the navigation permit
👉 The association is dynamic (introduction to coastal navigation, raising awareness of the coastal environment, preservation of memory tourism, participation in major maritime events...).
