Aurélien. M, Harbour Master :
My work as Harbour Master for Ports du Calvados consists of :
- act as a link between the customers of the different ports (yachtsmen and associations) and the Yachting Manager,
- to act as an intermediary between the Fishing and Yachting Managers and Ports du Calvados in the ports,
- to work with teams on investment proposals,
- ensure that all equipment made available to users is in good condition,
- liaise with the operations department in charge of maintenance work,
- to manage the teams in charge of yachting and provide them with the resources they need to carry out their work in the ports of the western sector.
At the Harbour Office, Bertrand and Franck, harbour agents, welcome, advise and support annual season ticket holders and visitors throughout the year. Every day, they ensure the safety of boats, and the maintenance of port equipment and people.

All of them work in collaboration with the other teams at Ports du Calvados, as well as with the SNSM, the port police, fishermen, town councils and many other stakeholders. And they all do their utmost to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and that yachtsmen and fishermen enjoy the pleasures of the sea and sailing to the full.
